Your Federation attended the first meeting of the Consultation Group on Access to Family Physicians and Primary Care (Table de concertation sur l'accès aux médecins de famille et aux services de première ligne), held in Lévis on April 17.

This subject, with its primary care component, is important for both medical federations. As we know, first-line care often overflows into our area. Because of this, a significant portion of our expertise is under-utilized and it is therefore in our real interest that primary care providers be able to carry out their role as fully as possible.
