Otorhinolaryngology

Otorhinolaryngology (ORL) encompasses diseases of the ear, nose and throat, as well as a major part of the head and neck. With the exception of eye disease, visual problems and brain lesions, specialists in this field (also known as ear, nose and throat specialists [ENT]) have medical and surgical training in the following fields: otology, otoneurology, rhinosinusology, laryngology, allergology, cervicofacial surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, maxillofacial trauma and orthognatic surgery, esophagobronchology.
