Obstetrics and Gynecology

Obstetrics and gynecology is a vast, diversified field devoted to women’s heath. Obstetricians/gynecologists are second-line consultants. The specialty is composed of two sections: Gynecology, which relates to diseases and problems of the female reproductive system that require medical or surgical treatment, and Obstetrics which concerns the follow-up of pregnancies and all forms of natal and prenatal care.
