Nuclear MedicineNuclear medicine deals with the diagnosis of different pathologies by means of medical imaging and other technologies (radioactivity, radio-opaque emission uptake, bone densitometry, magnetic resonance, etc.). The diagnosis provides a dynamic reading (i.e. moving). For example, the movement of blood through different organs can be detected by using a radio-opaque substance, allowing certain defects to be detected. Other techniques use static images taken at regular intervals which, when superimposed on each other, can recreate a dynamic image.
