Decision-making Bodies
Delegates’ Assembly
The highest decisional authority is the Delegates’ Assembly. Composed of representatives from the 34 affiliated associations, the Delegates’ Assembly elects the Federation’s Board of Directors, approves Federation policies and its general philosophy, and approves budgets. All affiliated associations designate their delegates based on their membership.
Board of Directors
The Board of Directors defines the Federation’s general philosophy and decides on negotiating strategies. It has nine members: a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Treasurer, Secretary and five counsellors, one of whom represents the intermediate regions and another the outlying regions.
