Whether you are a private individual, a patient, a resident physician, a practicing medical specialist, or a journalist, we hope that your visit will provide answers to any questions you may have.

As you are aware, one of the missions of the Fédération des médecins spécialistes du Québec is to promote the economic and professional interests of its members. Also, although this is less commonly known, another formal mission of the FMSQ is to advance the scientific and social interests of specialized medicine in Quebec. This is very significant since these areas aim at enabling our medical specialists to offer the highest quality care possible to the general public and to ensure that we guarantee greater access to quality care as resources permit. That’s why the FMSQ always strives to participate in the organization of Quebec’s health care system.

This Web site has a wealth of information that I invite you to study in detail. As I reiterate my welcome, I wish to remind you that our mission is to ensure that you have access to first-rate specialized medical care in the best conditions possible, now and always. This is what the Federation is all about.
